Where is Golden Island located?

What’s the parking situation like? 

Golden Island has a huge parking lot. Parking is free for all performances - ticketed and non-ticketed.

How do I purchase tickets? 

Golden Island’s music program is programmed and promoted by Bardic Management and Marketing LLC.

What are your ticketing fees? 

Convenience Fee: All tickets bought through our online portal come with a $1.00 convenience fee.

 
Taxes: All sales are taxed %7.75 of the total in accordance with California State Law,

Are Tickets Refundable? 

All tickets purchases are final.  No refunds or cancellations are honored. 

In the case of a band cancellation, we will reach out to each ticket buyer personally.

Please remember that we do NOT cancel for bad weather and cannot issue refunds to patrons unable to get to the show.

How will I receive my tickets? 

During the purchase process, you will be emailed a QR code that you can present t can select from Print at Home Mobile (recommended)

Mobile: Access your Mobile Tickets from your confirmation email.

How many performance stages are at Golden Island? 

Golden Island has one stage and is the center piece of our venue.

On select Sundays, The Golden Stage presents touring bands and artists from all over the world. There is a ticket charge for these performances. See upcoming shows here.

Every Friday from 6:30-8:30, The Golden Stage hosts Dim Sum & Jazz, which is a live music program that features the best local artists from San Diego and Southern California. There is a never a cover charge for these performances. You can see the calendar for Dim Sum & Jazz here.

When do doors open for performances? 

On nights during a ticketed performance, the Restaurant shuts down at 4PM to prepare for the event. Doors then open at 6PM and seating will begin. Performances will begin at the posted time.

On Friday nights during Dim Sum & Jazz the doors are always open. We highly recommend reservations and seating at 6PM. The venue tends to fill up quick, and once the performance starts at 6:30PM, it can be hard to find a seat.

What if I'm running late for a ticketed show? 

Tickets for ticketed shows are non-refundable, so your seat will be held for you until you arrive!

If you have given your ticket(s) to someone else, please email the.bard@bardicmanagement.com and let us know the names of who you gave your tickets to!

What are your age restrictions? 

Golden Island is for everyone and is an all-ages venue.

Ticketed performances are all ages unless otherwise noted. We will post on our performance flyers when a ticketed show is 21+

Will I have reserved seats? 

All seated tickets purchased through Bardic Management are Reserved Seating! When you purchase tickets, you must select your seat(s) from our seating chart!

Can you accommodate large parties? 

We can accommodate large parties. However, our seats are on a first come first serve basis and are reserved at of purchase.

If planning to buy tickets for a large party, please refer to the available seats on the seating chart. Many of our tables seat up to 8+. Buying your tickets early is the best way to assure that your party is seated together.

Are you wheelchair/disabled accessible? 

Yes! All of our seats are ADA / wheelchair accessible, and are available to be purchased on a first come first served basis by anyone. 

Should there be a need to move guests to make room for someone with a wheelchair, management may ask move a patron to accommodate said guest.

Is there a dress code? 

There is no formal dress code, but we always encourage getting fancied up for your night out.

I bought seats for a show and cannot go, can I transfer my seats to another person? 

Yes. Please email the.bard@bardicmanagement.com and we will be happy to put the tickets under a different name.

You may also transfer tickets directly from your confirmation email to anyone with an email address.

When experiencing music for ticketed shows at Golden Island, you’ll enjoy an amazing 3-course meal from any seat in the hall. Golden Island’s kitchen features award-winning Cantonese Dim Sum & Asian cuisine. Our 3-course meal is mandatory and adds an exciting and delicious cultural dimension to the show experience!

Do you have Gluten-Free Options?

YES! Most of our entrees can be modified to fit a gluten-free diet! Please let us know of any allergies or dietary restrictions at time of ordering!

What are the hours for the Golden Island? 

Golden Island is open during the hours on the following days;

Monday-Friday: 10AM-9PM

Sat-Sun: 9:30AM-9PM

During ticketed shows, Golden Island will shut down at 4PM until doors open. Please refer to the specific event info for when doors open.

Do you have happy hour?

Currently Golden Island does not have a happy hour.

Do you take reservations at Golden Island 

During normal hours, Golden Island takes reservations for parties of 4 or more!

During ticketed shows, reservations are on a first come first serve basis. Please refer to each ticketed event’s specific seating chart to see what remaining seats are available.

Can I rent out the Golden Island for an event or special occasion?

Yes!  Please call 858-578-4000 or visit our Private Events Page on our website to submit an inquiry.

What is your photo policy? Can I bring in a camera? 

The photo policy is determined by each individual artist. Our general rule is that you can take pictures, as long as you are not using a professional rig. We never allow flash photography in Golden Island. We do not know of the band’s photo policy until the night of the show.

How do I submit a band for a possible performance at Golden Island? 

We do all of our booking through our partner, Bardic Management & Marketing LLC.
