Originally a gospel singer, Dorothy Mae "Lady Dottie" Whitsett's early career included performing with Kool and the Gang and Clarence Carter, among others. Back then, she called herself Miss Dynamite, moving around from residences in Alabama, New Jersey, Portland, Seattle, and Atlanta.

Kaylee Daugherty is an up-and-coming singer in the San Diego jazz scene. With roots in gospel and R&B, her musical interpretations come with soul and passion.

Brooklyn native Lori Bell is a flutist and composer of admirable depth and broad musical sympathies. A resident of San Diego, she has contributed to the development of higher standards of performance while earning acclaim from both peers and critics for her artistry on stage and in recordings.

Gerard Nolan is a woodwind master hailing from Dublin, Ireland. Skilled on all the saxophones, clarinets, and flutes you can imagine, Gerard Nolan’s bright and joyful sense of music never fails to put a hop in one’s step!

Josie LaValle is from San Diego, California. She is natural musician with a knack for improvisation. Josie’s vocal style is influenced by artists from various genres such as Ella Fitzgerald, Ariana Grande, Alicia Keys, Etta James, and Harry Styles.

Amanda started her musical career in San Francisco, she frequented many an open mic and one in particular at the 16th and Mission Bart Station. It was there that she was inspired to begin her path as a singer songwriter.

Named by her petite size, Jenny Pocket’s talent and energy is anything but little. Since 2009, she has been rocking crowds all over Southern California and major cities across the US. Jenny Pocket has earned her way as a go-to DJ because her ability to read the crowd, her strong work ethic, and doing it all with a smile. !

Originally from Naples, FL, Cobby Brzeski is a nationally touring multi-instrumental, multi-genre flutist, vocalist, and songwriter from San Diego, CA that performs all around the east and west coasts. Cobby's charming voice, playful songwriting, and authenticity to the jazz tradition will make anyone feel like they're back in the 1940's.

There is no doubt, this fiery bunch has a strong voice in both New Orleans and San Diego. NOCCA graduate and New Orleans native, lead guitarist John Saavedra founded this band in 2014. They play at several venues in both cities, estimating about 40 gigs a month; the Swinging G’s have been featured on ESPN Monday night football…
